Your car is your baby, your wingman, your partner in crime. Yet there it sits in pristine condition, trapped inside a dark garage where nobody can see it. Having all that horsepower with nowhere to gallop is a tragedy. So how do you let that beautiful machinery loose on the roads while keeping it cherry?

Worry not. Living up to its reputation as the undisputed leader in car care innovation, Turtle Wax has created some great new products that will let you have your automobile cake and drive it too. If you didn’t catch the team showing their 2016 products in action at the AAPEX and SEMA shows in Las Vegas, here are some of the highlights.

Turtle Wax’s new M.A.X. Power Wash, which comes in a monstrous 100 ounce bottle, turns car-washing on its head, allowing users to customize their wash to the task at hand. (Oh, and it also smells like pure, unadulterated auto shine.) The Turtle Wax team experimented with a range of different concentration levels, actually altering the pH balance of the wash. When diluted, 3 ounces of formula is great for moderate cleaning and preserving previously applied wax, whereas 6 ounces can be used to aggressively do away with anything from salt to bug splatter. If you need to get really serious, the 9 ounce formula has the power to obliterate even brake dust and tree sap. It’s all science.

As any gearhead knows, it’s the details that turn a good looking car into a show-stopping car. Luckily, the serious car lovers at Turtle Wax took those details into account when formulating Dash & Glass. It’s perfect for a quick clean on your dashboard, windows, console, steering wheel, or any other hard interior surface. (It’s actually the only product out there that will clean all of those surfaces without streaking.) With the precision of the foaming spray (more science), you can make every inch of your car’s interior look like new, without worrying about overspray.

Further foam experimentation led Turtle Wax to another new product: Power Foam Bug & Tar Remover, which packs 16 ounces of tar-blasting foam into a convenient spray can. The wide spray provides expansive coverage and longer dwell times so you can efficiently remove any insectile casualties from your last drive.

Whether you’re an auto n00b or seasoned veteran, you probably know that detailing is key to keeping your neighbors jealous of your ride. Turtle Wax’s ICE System with Smart Shield Technology is a top-to-bottom solution for any car owner’s detailing needs. The system has interior and exterior solutions that are easy to use and come loaded with hyper-shine polymers, delivering premium performance.

Sure, Turtle Wax has an impressive ICE System, but in case you haven’t noticed, they don’t rest on their laurels. This year they added ICE Speed Compound, which has a serious advantage: you can actually rinse it off. The product effectively removes swirl marks and oxidation without leaving white drying residue on the surface or in cracks and crevices. And yes, it lives up to its name. it’s very speedy.

If you’re looking to break your car of that dusty garage, consider this your reminder to catch Turtle Wax’s big reveal at AAPEX and SEMA. They’ll be sharing live updates and even more info about their car-care technology innovations via Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
