As a kid, racing games were my favorite. I loved the thrill of drifting around bends, the hilarity of dropping banana peels for my competitors to slip on, and the sheer frustration of falling off the track and dropping behind. My parents, on the other hand, succumbed to a combination of apathy and motion sickness within minutes of playing with me. Still, with the right training, could they have emerged victorious?
In a series of videos, we explored the idea of training parents to pwn their kids in video games. After receiving crash courses in three games from gaming fanatic Jake Saleh, we pitted the parents against their kids in one-off matches. The second in our series features Stephanie competing against her son, Kaiden, in Tabletop Racing: World Tour, an arcade-style 3D racing game.
Stephanie surprised everyone with her innate aptitude for racing games during her training. But could she defeat Kaiden — a skilled gamer in his own right?
