Are you a weekend warrior who passes the days dreaming about getting to the local racetrack for a couple dozen after-work laps? Do you quietly cling to the belief that, if only given a little more formal instruction, you could compete with the world's best drivers?
The fine people at PEAK understand your illusions of grandeur and they're giving you a chance to turn them into a reality. For the second straight year, PEAK is conducting a national search for the next great stock car driver. If selected, you and seventeen other finalists will head to Charlotte for a three-day driving showdown. Instructors in Charlotte include the likes of racing legends Clint Bowyer, Danica Patrick and Michael Waltrip, to name just a few. No, that's not a misprint. You'll learn the tricks of the trade from a former NASCAR Nationwide Series champ, the best woman in the history of US racing, and a two-time Daytona 500 winner, respectively.
Wondering how life might change if you win? Look no further than last year's winner, Patrick Staropoli. Since taking home the inaugural PEAK Stock Car Dream Challenge, the 24-year-old medical student from Florida has gone on to pilot the No.99 Toyota in several NASCAR K&N Pro Series West races. And his 5-race sponsorship this year included the Battle at the Beach in Daytona during Speedweeks.
To enter, submit a 90-second video explaining why you have what it takes to drive at the highest level. No need to get too Hollywood: just send over a succinct video clip to PEAKStockCarDream.com demonstrating why you're the best driver no one's heard of. If selected, PEAK will fly you to Charlotte for the three-day training and competition process. At the end of three days, one individual will earn additional training and have the opportunity to earn their official competition license. If things go as well as they did for Patrick Staropoli, the winner will take his or her talents to the racing circuit shortly thereafter.
Staropoli said that the PEAK Stock Car Challenge changed his life.
Now let it change yours.
Head here to enter the contest and become what you've always thought you could be.
