Krypton is the upcoming Syfy series all about Superman’s grandfather, Seg-El. The new trailer just dropped, and it’s loaded with time travelers, menacing military squads, and more than a few glimpses of that iconic logo.

It’s getting me excited for the series, because it’s the first time the story of Superman’s ancestry will be told onscreen in such a detailed, exciting way — not as a way to set up a Superman story, but with Seg-El himself as the hero.
